Facilities Equipment Engineer 2
Utilizes project management tools and processes to plan, manage, and execute projects by coordinating with Suppliers, Operations and Maintenance in the modification of equipment to address machine safeguarding requirements in accordance with company and regulatory requirements. Creates, maintains, and communicates project management information. Manages project expenditures within authorized budgets.

Creates, reviews, revises, maintains, and organizes equipment documents and drawings for equipment in accordance with company procedures and legal requirements.

Reviews proposals for the modification of equipment to address machine safeguarding requirements for adequacy and consistency. Participates in the development and recommendation of equipment modifications to ensure that equipment operational and maintenance processes are effective and efficient for operations customers. Creates simple equipment designs through the application of engineering methodologies for the modification of equipment. Performs the testing and acceptance of equipment modifications to validate that performance meets the company and regulatory requirements.

Responds to maintenance and/or operator questions related to equipment modifications to meet machine safeguarding requirements. Advises stakeholders on technology developments.

Bachelor's degree and typically 2 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a Master's degree with experience in an engineering classification. Required: Bachelor or Master degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. Must be US Person for purposes of Export Compliance.
